James & James is currently accepting applications for Dock Associate in our Springdale, AR shop. This is a logistical role to support operations.

General responsibilities and requirements include, but are not limited to the following:

· Responsible for loading and unloading inbound and outbound shipments while being able to safely and repeatedly lift up to 50lbs or more.

· Efficiently distributes and stocks all packages received.

· Accurately checks in and completes all required paperwork associated with freight and deliveries.

· Operate equipment necessary for safe and efficient completion of assigned duties. This includes but is not limited to; licensed to operate a forklift, pallet jack, etc.

· Communicates and interacts with truck and delivery drivers, vendors, and co-workers professionally and productively ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.

· Performs all required safety and inspection checks on forklift and pallet jacks maintaining proper logs and documentation.

· Accurately stocks inventory in designated locations.

· Assists in the loading of local orders either with designated company or customers.

· Performs regular dock audits ensuring accuracy.

· Create and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.

· Basic computer skills including the ability to learn and successfully use applications.

· Perform other duties as requested or needed to support the team environment.
