Job Title: Accounts Receivable Supervisor

Department: Accounting

Reports To: Accounting Manager

Purpose: Seeing to the timely and accurate processing of invoices, receipt to our customers, and subsequent maintenance of accounts to make sure customers' balances are recorded, monitored, and collected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconciling support documents (Proofs of Delivery, Lumper Receipts, and Rate Confirmations) to the invoice figures.

• Assisting with the collection of missing support documents.

• Monitoring billing email accounts and responding to customer requests.

• Submission of invoices: mailing invoices, ensuring email receipt, or updating web portals with pertinent information.

• Check emailed lumper reports to ensure dispatch entered them into FB and lumper receipt is present.

• Generating, reviewing, and dissemination of customer monthly statements of account.

Other Possible Duties:

• Check and ACH deposits.

• Processing payments to third party carriers.

• Answering phones for routing to appropriate party and calling customers to resolve balances, as necessary.

• Creating and submitting Insurance Certificates.

• Assist others as needed.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Administrative or transportation background a plus.

Requirements:

• Computer skills.

• Email and verbal communication.

Hours:

• 40-hour workweek
