POSITION SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

1. Safely operate crane while hoisting formwork, concrete, rebar and other materials on a commercial / industrial concrete project
2. Daily inspection of the condition of the crane and complete safety checklists
3. Participate in the erection / dismantling / setup of the crane
4. Assist in the calculation of load weights and the generation of critical lift plans
5. Perform all assigned roles, responsibilities, and related work processes / tasks in the safest possible manner. Ensure that a safe, accident/incident- free work environment is maintained for all co-workers, customers, clients, suppliers, etc. at all times

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Operate other various types of heavy equipment when crane is down or not needed for a period of time

Education and/or Experience

1. At least 3 years’ experience in commercial/industrial projects crane operation

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

1. Capable of lifting 90 pounds repetitively

1. NCCCO Certified Crane Operator License.
