Print Floor – PT Seasonal Night Shift

Overview:

Strawbridge Studios, Inc. produces yearbooks, posters, flyers, ID cards, business cards and various marketing materials for schools to use during their day-to-day business. We use a wide range of printing and finishing equipment to produce these materials. We are interested in hard working individuals with a positive attitude. Industry knowledge is a plus. Any individual with experience using any of the following machinery is encouraged to apply: Canon ProStream, Konica Minolta printers, wide format Epsons, Indigos, Industrial Cutters, Horizon Booklet binders, laminators, forklifts and pallet jacks. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday from 5pm to 1:30am. Hours will fluctuate depending on production. Exemplary performance may qualify team members to earn overtime during periods of heavier workload.

Responsibilities for Print Floor Operator:

• Complete deadline driven tasks and reach metric on daily basis
• Workflow responsibilities include:
• Printing sales flyers and materials for picture day
• Printing, laminating, and finishing ID cards
• Printing and framing wide format prints
• Operating book bindery equipment
• Lift 40 pounds or more to move books, paper, etc.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude. Must be approachable and reliable.
• Ensure the quality of work meets expectations
• Attendance is mandatory and employees must work a minimum of 25 hours per week.
• Perform any auxiliary functions requested by a Supervisor or Management.

Minimum Requirements for a Print Floor Operator:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in organizing and prioritizing tasks
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high paced environment
• Proficiency with computers with a strong ability to process information in multiple systems at the same time
• Ability to multitask, work independently, work well within a team, and ask questions

Pay Rate: $15.00 hourly (with a nightly incentive)

Strawbridge Studios operates in alignment with the traditional school year calendar and may experience periods of reduced workload, particularly on the Night Shift. Please note that employment with Strawbridge Studios is considered part-time and seasonal in nature.
