FLSA Status: Hourly Non-exempt position

Reports to: Superintendent

Job Purpose: To assist in pipeline or plant construction by performing general labor duties in a safe, efficient manner.

Job Duties:

• Keep construction job site organized and clean
• Hauling materials
• Operating hand and power tools of all types such as air hammers and cement mixers
• Clean and pile salvaged materials
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
• Remove debris at construction sites
• Dig trenches to required depths, by hand or using trenching tools
• Bolt up of flanges
• Install valves
• Other duties as assigned

Skills/Qualifications: May require high school diploma or equivalent knowledge and experience. Field experience and knowledge of general construction principles. Attention to detail, initiative, and reliability. Experience working on a team and following directions.

Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Hours: Work hours are generally a regular work week of 40 plus hours; however, exact hours to work each day may vary as required.
