Job Description
Denver Beverage & Denver Refreshment Services is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Field Service Technician to join our growing service team.
In this role, you will travel to customer locations throughout the Denver area to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install beverage dispensing equipment. Equipment may include soda systems, coffee and juice machines, ice machines, refrigeration and cooling equipment, CO2 systems, pumps, valves, and water lines.
The Field Service Technician will provide friendly and professional customer service while completing assigned service calls safely, accurately, and efficiently. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing equipment issues, completing repairs and installations, maintaining parts and tools on the company vehicle, and documenting all work using a company-provided tablet.
Previous beverage-equipment experience is not required. Denver Beverage provides all necessary hands-on training in-house. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, mechanical ability, excellent problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn.
This is a full-time position offering $25.00–$27.00 per hour, company-provided tools and technology, a company service vehicle, benefits, ongoing training, and opportunities for career growth.
Requirements:JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to use power hand tools such as drills and saws.
- Excellent driving skills needed to drive safely and avoid all accidents.
- Refrigeration certification, and high degree of technical aptitude.
- Technicians will need to be good physical shape as some lifting and stooping is required.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Demonstrated self-motivated and self-directed ability.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with no driving restrictions.
- Able to drive a manual shift vehicle.
Knowledge of beverage systems and specifications of systems to prevent malfunction which could lead to serious harm to self and others.
Testing and certification as required by companies that we contract with.
