You will:
Assist with the creation and implementation of the Development Plan that incorporates a range of strategies including annual appeals, major donors, grants, corporate and individual appeals, social media and special events.
Assist with the production and implementation of appeal campaigns and other fundraising communications and strategies.
Record donations on an ongoing basis in the donor database, and assist with generating acknowledgments, thank you letters, and tax receipts.
Run reports, and maintain and manage database, keeping donor records, and communication up to date.
Donor engagement through phone calls, letters and emails, and coordinating lunches and meetings for Director of Development and President.
Assist with marketing for, setting up and running monthly Vision Tours
Perform administrative duties as needed including filing, copying, sorting, mailing, etc.
Support event and other committees, including taking meeting minutes and sending them to committee members in a timely fashion. Work with committees and Director of Development in establishing and adhering to event budget, assist with event preparation, and attend events to assist in set up, implementation, and clean up.
Coordinate donor recognition and retention i.e. end of the year gifts, major gifts, impact reports, etc.
Coordinate social media strategy and content including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. Assist in managing HOPE South Florida website.
Assist in grant research, writing and tracking.
Attend networking events with the Director of Development to increase professional network, refine relationship management skills, and enhance HOPE South Florida outreach and capacity.

You have:
Spiritual maturity with spiritual gifts of leadership and administration.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, and develop and manage the needs and work assignments of both staff team members and program residents.
Ability to form positive, collaborative relationships with members of HOPE South Florida team, partner agencies and church and other volunteers.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
Ability to use HMIS, Excel, Word and other programs for documenting and reporting purposes.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in the field of business, marketing or a related field. Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License, with an acceptable driving record, and car insurance.
Successful completion of a Level 2 background check and drug screening.

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8:30 - 5:30PM
