Receptionist at Central Peninsula Hospital – Soldotna, Alaska

POSITION SUMMARY: The Receptionist is the first point of contact for our patients. This position must understand the different services offered by the department and be able to direct clients to the appropriate services. This position includes substantial responsibility for organization of charting including; collecting admission paperwork, prompting data collection, chart audits and required correspondence with third parties (i.e., insurances, legal system). The Receptionist also high a high level of patient contact and must be comfortable interacting with people undergoing emotional crisis and/or displaying oppositional behavior.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED
• BLSP (CPR) from the American Heart Association
