Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a delicate dining setting
- Strong knowledge of frying techniques and equipment
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of food items including: tempura, egg rolls, gyoza, etc, to meet the restaurant's high standards
- Experience and knowledge on cooking beef, pork, fish, and shellfish
- Follow recipes and ensure accurate measurements of ingredients
- Attention to detail and experience in the fine dining kitchen environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Plating finished products well and with precision
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with inquiries and special orders
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour + tips

Work Location: In person
- Experience in the food industry, preferably as a line cook, sauté cook, grill cook, or fry cook. - Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques, including knife skills, meat fabrication, cutting produce, making stocks and sauces
- Ability to handle and use various kitchen equipment, including immersion blenders and food processors. - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent time management skills to meet production schedules in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues
