Veterinarian Monday-Thursday at Thrive Pet Healthcare – Hoffman Estates, Illinois

PetCure Oncology at Thrive Hoffman Estates is looking for a Monday- Thursday Veterinarian to join their team.

This position is perfect for a General Practice Veterinarian or an Emergency Clinician who would like to receive on-site training and support while working with a Boarded Radiation Oncologist to provide the highest standard of care for their patients. Summary of Position:
The primary role of the Veterinarian is to oversee clinical care within the department and act as PetCure Oncology’s lead veterinarian within the practice. This position works closely in collaboration with, and at the direction of, a PetCure board-certified Radiation Oncologist. The onsite veterinarian is also responsible for overseeing post radiation care/rechecks, facilitating anesthesia, collaborating with Medical Oncologists and General Practitioners. Another role is to manage and continue to develop the team, which consists of a Radiation Therapist and two Veterinary Technicians.

Work Experience & Education:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
Licensed Veterinarian to the local State or ability to become licensed
3-5 years of prior working experience as a general practice veterinarian
