In this role, you will be responsible for managing the reporting and analytics lifecycle of our client's internal marketing metrics from end to end. You will be required to participate in projects and direct others in the organization to adopt data-driven processes and implement data in their decision-making. You will support the enterprise by analyzing a variety of data sources programmatically, producing meaningful marketing reports that will provide an analytical perspective to help steer the strategic direction of the company. You will be responsible for data gathering, report development, QA, and analysis of a broad set of regularly scheduled reports as well as various ad hoc reports and analyses. You will partner with marketing leaders in setting the direction of analytical and technical solutions. You will also be required to contribute to strategic projects.

THIS IS A TEMPORARY ROLE EXPECTED TO LAST SIX MONTHS. THIS POSITION HAS AN IN-OFFICE REQUIREMENT OF 4 DAYS PER WEEK.

Essential Functions:

  • Manages the Marketing Analytics group’s reporting lifecycle from end to end, owning and overseeing reporting and analytics processes including managing data gathering, establishing metrics, building and distributing reports, performing QA, and engaging with leaders within the marketing team in order to answer critical business questions.
  • Accountable for the development, maintenance, and innovation of large, enterprise-wide datasets, data tools and platforms, and the direction of colleagues to implement and use these datasets and tools.
  • Partners with key teams to assist with data, reporting, and analytics initiatives that each of those groups lead.
  • Interprets data, analyzes results using statistical techniques, and provides ongoing reports.
  • Develops and implements data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
  • Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources and maintains databases/data systems.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets, with focus on marketing metrics.
  • Filters and cleans data, and reviews reports, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
  • Builds complex reports and serves as an advisor to team members.
  • Attends meetings and may act as a representative for the Marketing Analytics team.
  • Manages projects with minimal supervision.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience as a senior data analyst
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with analytic tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.), databases (SQL, AWS, etc.), and programming (Python, SQL stored procedures etc.).
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Python libraries, Excel, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong comfort level gathering requirements, conducting project interviews and facilitating brainstorming or collaboration sessions with team members.
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
  • Skilled in managing multiple requests and maintaining a high-level of responsiveness.
  • Experience being self-directed in managing projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Salesforce ecosystem – Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud
  • Experience with web analytics (GA4, Matomo, Adobe Analytics, Mixpanel, Heap, Clicky, etc.)
