Concierge in Manchester, Vermont at Adaptive Senior Living
Job Description
You’re the first smile everyone sees.
A daughter visiting her mom for the first time. A resident waiting on a package from the grandkids. A new team member on day one. They all walk past your desk, and you set the tone for their whole visit.
Bromley Manor is a residential care community in Manchester Center, Vermont, with an 11-apartment Journeys neighborhood for residents living with dementia. Whatever your role, you'll help give every resident days that feel familiar, calm, and full of purpose.
Why you’ll love this job
- You’ll know everyone who walks in. In a small community, you learn residents’ names, their families, and who’s expecting a visit today.
- You’re the hub. Calls, messages, deliveries, and questions all come through you, and you keep it all moving.
- Every day is different. One hour you’re welcoming a family, the next you’re helping with move-in paperwork.
- Flexible schedules. Full-time and part-time shifts are available.
What you’ll do
- Greet residents, families, and visitors warmly, and make sure every visitor signs in and out
- Answer and direct phone calls, and pass along messages accurately and on time
- Handle mail, packages, and deliveries
- Keep the front desk and reception area welcoming and organized
- Support the Business Office Manager and Executive Director with filing, data entry, and records
- Help with new team member paperwork and resident move-in and move-out details
- Help schedule appointments, meetings, and events
What you bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of customer service, front desk, or office experience is a plus
- Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality is a bonus, not required
- Warmth, patience, and a friendly, professional presence
- Organized and calm when the phone, the door, and a question all come at once
- Comfortable sitting and standing at the desk, with occasional light lifting up to 25 pounds
What we offer
- Full-time and part-time schedules
- Paid time off (for eligible team members)
- 401(k), starting January 1, 2027
- Room to grow and develop
