Full-Time Janitorial Technician

Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour

Position Summary

ASM Environmental, LLC is currently hiring dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented Full-Time Janitorial Technicians for openings in the Elysburg, Pennsylvania area.

We are seeking reliable individuals who take pride in their work, demonstrate consistent attendance, and are committed to maintaining clean, safe, and professional commercial facilities.

These are full-time, onsite positions with approximately 40 hours per week. Scheduling may include weekdays, Saturdays, and Sundays based on facility requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust mop, and scrub floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas.
- Collect and dispose of trash, cardboard, and recycling materials.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, fixtures, shelving, and equipment.
- Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
- Clean interior windows, doors, and glass surfaces.
- Operate commercial floor cleaning equipment after receiving proper training.
- Follow established cleaning procedures, company safety guidelines, and facility requirements.
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management.
- Perform additional cleaning duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Previous commercial janitorial or cleaning experience preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment criminal background check.
- Must successfully complete pre-employment drug screening.
- Reliable transportation, dependable attendance, and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks, including bending, standing, and walking for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Professional attitude, good communication skills, and willingness to follow established procedures.

Work Schedule and Availability

- Full-time employment, approximately 40 hours per week.
- Scheduled shifts may include mornings, afternoons, or evenings.
- Saturday availability is required based on assigned schedules.**
- Sunday availability may be required as facility operations expand.**
