Sales & Service Representative in Ponca City, Oklahoma at Key Safety

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales & Service Representative is responsible for managing and servicing a significant Key Safety account, fulfilling client requests and orders promptly and accurately, and coordinating with various departments to ensure that client's needs are understood and satisfied. Motivated by improving the overall customer and buyer experience, the Sales & Service Representative will focus on continually building upon existing product knowledge, and engage with the client. Key responsibilities include managing and implementing an order fulfillment and client service schedule.

SALES & SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing onsite client inventory programs
• Maintaining solid communication with the client to discuss client needs or areas for opportunity
• Demonstrating product knowledge through on-site solutions and addressing client questions
• Coordinating with members of each department to ensure clients' needs are understood and satisfied
• Building and managing client relationships with trust, respect, excellent service and support
• Keeping accurate records pertaining to inventory and account notes
• Ensuring client retention by maintaining awareness of all competitive activities in the account
• Maintaining updated knowledge of company products and services
• Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes
• Acting as a client advocate with a focus on improving the buyer experience
• Identifying industry trends and collecting and analyzing data to better understand consumer behavior
• Quoting price and turnaround times as well as preparing sales purchase orders when necessary
• Tracking inventory levels and replacing stock items when necessary
• Safely transporting products and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• College education preferred. The minimum is an associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, inventory, or administrative assistance
• Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft Intuit products, specifically proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive, and QuickBooks
• Experience with customer service
• Proven ability to work and plan effectively in a team environment with associates as well prioritizing responsibilities to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of safety equipment and the use of PPE beneficial
• Excellent communication and organization skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Work environment is an office and a manufacturing facility. The office position requires the dexterity to operate office equipment such as a personal computer, keyboard, mouse, and telephone. The showroom and warehouse require lifting of up to 45 lbs. while using correct stepping, lifting, and handling protocol. Anything over 45 lbs. requires the use of a dolly or team lift.
• Must have a valid Oklahoma drivers license and regular reliable transportation.
• This is not a sedentary role -- it requires lifting, squatting, walking, and delivering orders to clients. Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time with frequent bending and lifting.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
