Looking for a summer job that’s way more meaningful (and fun) than working indoors all day? Join the Summer Staff Team at Camp Paradise, where you’ll build lifelong friendships, gain real leadership experience, and help create an unforgettable camp experience for dads and their kids.

You’ll spend your summer outdoors in Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula—running activities, leading campers, helping with worship, keeping camp running strong, and being part of a team that truly feels like family.

Camp Season Details

Training Week: Start your summer with an unforgettable week of bonding and prep.

Camp Sessions: 10-session from mid-June through mid-August.

What You’ll Do

Lead Epic Activities

• Work the high adventure activities—high ropes course and climbing tower
• Help run the camp store, archery/BB range, and more…
• Be part of “The Six” on rotation—spending intentional time with kids while their dads rest and recharge

Keep Camp Running Smoothly

• Help with daily cleaning and setup (dishes, sweeping/mopping, gear checks, etc.)
• Rotate through essential camp tasks like emptying garbage, cleaning outhouses, or starting campfires
• Clean and reset camp between sessions so campers always arrive to an amazing environment

Be Part of Something Meaningful

• Create a distraction-free environment for campers to grow spiritually and relationally!
• Join daily chapel for worship and teaching
• Jump into teamwork projects—restocking wood sheds, moving supplies, unloading groceries, and whatever the day brings

Who We’re Looking For

• Responsible, on-time, and ready to work hard as part of a team
• Excited to build friendships and be part of a close community
• Able to stay active, lift up to 50 lbs, and handle physical work
• Enjoy serving and leading kids ages 8–12
• Bonus skills include: Lifeguard certified, Play guitar or lead worship, video/photography, Mechanical or maintenance abilities
