Clinician - Student Counseling

Bradford Counseling Services - Pennsylvania-Bradford - (25006640)

Pitt–Bradford is seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinician to provide professional, empathetic counseling support to our diverse student body. This full-time, 10-month academic-year position (August 1 – May 31) — ideal for clinicians who value meaningful work during the academic year with summers free. The position is available for immediate hire.

Compensation & Benefits: Salary range $26.06–$32.57/hr (37.5 hrs./week), plus an excellent benefits package, including retirement plan with up to 8% employer match; group medical insurance, life insurance, optional vision, and dental insurance; and generous vacation, sick and personal time. Job Summary

Provides targeted, advanced-level, clinical psychotherapy services addressing a range of mental health concerns for a diverse population of students/clients utilizing specialized techniques to foster student development, remediate mental health problems, and promote positive mental health. Facilitates comprehensive assessments and treatments, referrals for hospitalizations, and case reviews.


Essential Functions

As clinician, you will provide comprehensive prevention, assessment, and intervention services at our on-campus office, meeting students “where they are”. The ideal candidate will demonstrate knowledge and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. You'll perform evaluations and treatment of our students, who will rely on you to counsel them on a variety of concerns throughout the semester. You will be asked to conduct individual, group, and virtual sessions, in an organic counseling environment---always ready for walk-ins in addition to appointments.

Requirements: Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field and a Pennsylvania license. We prefer a minimum of two years in practice as a licensed mental health provider with experience at a college, university counseling center, or comparable mental health setting.

Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects of up to 25 pounds.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Work Arrangement: On-Campus: Teams that work on campus, in an office, or in a lab.

Hiring Range: $40,700 - $52,900 for 10 mo. or 1624 hours
