Specialties Installer at ALLY BUILDING SOLUTIONS – Orlando, Florida

Ally Building Solutions provides flooring products and quality installation, a full line of window treatments, a wide range of cabinetry options, and design studio solutions to new home builders in greater Orlando, Jacksonville, Tampa, and Fort Myers.

We are looking for an experienced Specialties Installer to join our team. The Specialty Installer will measure and install specialty products in customers’ homes while representing our company in a professional and cost-effective manner. Products include glass enclosures, mirrors, wire shelving and specialty accessories.

Specialties Installer Responsibilities

• Provide reliable, high quality customer support and consultation.
• Measure and accurately record size of install areas.
• Receive, verify, and inspect deliveries and maintain materials for installation in warehouse.
• Load products, and drive to the installation location.
• Install in homes and clean up after installation.
• Complete and submit all required task-related activities, and other documentation in a timely manner.
• Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Specialties Installer Requirements

• 2 years’ experience measuring and installing specialty products.
• Must be detail oriented and have a strong work ethic.
• Skilled in using hand tools, drills, screw-gun, cutting equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, basic math skills and attention to detail required.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to unload, lift and carry 50 to 75 pounds.
• Skilled in reading elevation and plan views of drawings a plus.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and background check.
