The Moments is a memory care community located in Lakeville Minnesota. We are the preeminent memory care and truly believe great care starts with a great clean surrounding for our residents and their loved ones.

This is why with the Campus expansion in Lakeville we have not only designed and built a gorgeous sensory designed and functional community for our residents and staff but also an “employee” level that was built with the team at the forefront. This level includes men’s and women’s locker rooms model after high end local fitness center locker areas, a staff breakroom which will make you want to hang out after and before your shift including, foosball, air hockey, Ms. Pacman, reclining couch and love seat and 65” television, as well as large kitchen area. We have a fitness room for staff, includes cardio and weights.

Because we believe in growth and education on the ever-evolving care processes for our staff we have The Moments Academy where-as a team member you will have the opportunity to take part, some mandatory, in classes from our own team of experts in the field and outside experts. We believe that without education and growth we will only stand still, and this starts with our team.

Finally, The Moments prides itself on providing the highest level of care for our residents. To us this means first an inherent compassion, passion, and love of seniors but specifically those who may not be able to care for themselves. As every day starts over you will realize that nothing was the same from yesterday an ability to pivot and understand the day is extremely important. A level of calm compassion and thinking on your feet are a must.

Our Housekeeping and Laundry team are integral to providing excellent care to our residents. You will be in your residents rooms daily cleaning, changing linens and doing their laundry. This gives you a unique position to identify if you find new changes in their ability to care for themselves. This is important for our care team to know so they can adjust the residents daily care needs. These are two separate positions identify which you are applying for. You will be an important part of our team.

Requirements:

• High School or equivalent education
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
• Attention to detail
• Experience in cleaning in other assisted livings or hotels a plus
• Self starter after training
• Willingness to communicate with manager
• Cleaning of biological waste
• Cleaning of common areas
• Use of commercial cleaning equipment including floor machines.
• team player
• Experience with commercial laundry equipment
• Linens and towel folding and stocking of resident rooms
• Resident laundry to be washed, dried, folded and returned to residents apartment putting away properly.
• Personal pride in a job well done

This does not include all requirements or tasks but rather is an example of the work to be performed.

Other Requirements:

• Must complete criminal background check from Department of Human Services.
• Must be screened for TB.
• Must be eligible to work in the US.
