Transportation Safety Officer at Crouse Hospital – Syracuse, New York

Safely transport passengers to and from designated locations, following predetermined routes and schedules while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate shuttle vehicles following all traffic laws and hospital policies
• Transport and assist passengers as needed
• Conduct vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of vehicles
• Communicate with dispatch/security for transport requests
• Provide professional, friendly customer service
• Complete required logs and follow all safety and confidentiality policies

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid New York State CDL driver’s license with clean record
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
