This position is responsible for providing engineering solutions to a wide range of customer challenges utilizing a variety of advanced manufacturing methods to include additive manufacturing. At a high level, tasks include reverse engineering, CAD design, 2D drawing with focus on application of GD&T, systems engineering, FEA analysis and simulation for selected components/systems. As well, this engineer will be responsible for following all product development process steps and ensure compliance to ISO and AS standards. This role will communicate and collaborate with customers as well as a multi-disciplinary team of manufacturing, operations, testing, quality, materials, and program management members through project completion. Other efforts include but are not limited to mentoring junior engineers, assisting in process improvement efforts, participate in various technical challenges and team support activities. Occasional travel is expected for this role. This role will be working in a highly agile environment in a multifunctional team and therefore, being a team player and having flexibility, adaptability, attention to detail are key to success. |
