We are looking for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, providing great service, and being part of a professional golf operations team.

Detroit Golf Club is seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our team as Golf Operations Attendants. This position is part of the club’s outside golf operations team and plays an important role in delivering an exceptional golf experience for our members and their guests.

Golf Operations Attendants assist in several areas of the golf operation and will rotate through multiple responsibilities throughout their shifts including bag drop service, cart fleet management, practice facility operations, and tournament support.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests upon arrival and assist with unloading and loading golf bags at the bag drop area

• Prepare, clean, and stage golf carts for daily play

• Assist with cart fleet management, ensuring carts are properly cleaned, stocked, charged, and staged for member play and club events

• Maintain the practice facility, including setting up the driving range, collecting and cleaning range balls, organizing hitting stations, and restocking range balls throughout the day

• Assist with practice facility setup and breakdown, including tee placement and maintaining a clean and organized practice environment

• Support bag room and club storage operations, including organizing bags and assisting members with their equipment

• Provide operational support during golf tournaments, outings, and club events, including cart staging and practice facility setup

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of golf operations areas including the bag drop, cart staging area, practice facility, and bag room

• Provide professional, friendly, and attentive service to all members and their guests

• Pay: Minimum wage, plus tips. Tip income varies but can significantly increase total hourly earnings.
  

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment

• Ability to lift and carry golf bags and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

• Golf knowledge is helpful but not required

Schedule

• Seasonal position (Spring through Fall)

• Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available

• Weekend and holiday availability required during the golf season
