About This Position
What You'll Be Doing
As a Teller II at Bank Iowa, you will deliver friendly, superior client experience through timely and accurate processing of accounts and transactions. You will identify client needs not currently being met and refer to appropriate bank staff, while treating clients with respect and dignity, either in person or on the phone.
- Receives checks and cash for deposits to accounts, verifies amounts, examines checks for proper endorsement, and enters deposits into appropriate records.
- Cashes checks and processes withdrawals; pays out money after verification of identity and client balances and issues computer-generated receipts.
- Counts currency, coins, and checks received by hand or using currency-counting machine to prepare them for deposit or shipment to other bank locations or the Federal Reserve Bank.
- Assists clients with accessing safe deposit boxes.
- Answers client questions and provides account information either in person or on the phone.
Our West Des Moines branch is open between the hours of 8:00AM - 5:30PM Monday through Friday and 9:00AM - 12:00PM on Saturday.
Requirements:Skills/Experience You'll Need
- High school diploma/G.E.D
- 2 years cash handling and client experience, in a professional office environment preferred.
