This position is in a new team that will deliver cutting-edge Java solutions and will be responsible for the technical components for development, optimization, and user testing for our connectivity platform.

What will you do?

DerbySoft is looking for a passionate QA Engineer eager to jump into a fast-paced R&D team and tackle compelling projects. We are a highly technical organization focused on software development, creativity, and on building meaningful features/functionality. This position is in a team that delivers cutting-edge Java solutions and is responsible for expanding the product’s features and functionality. The focus of this role includes maintaining the test repositories, mentoring other team members, managing the team workflow, and maintaining sprint metrics.

Lead end-to-end testing initiatives throughout the entire SDLC from test planning, test design, test execution, and test reporting. This includes functional, front/back end, regression, black/white box testing, performance testing, UAT, etc.Evaluate and implement new QA ideas and concepts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Enterprise Integration R&D team.Responsible for connectivity service platform functional test, automation test and performance testDesign test scenarios, develop test scripts and execute the test.General test reports, analyze test results and provide optimization suggestions.Responsible for test framework development and maintenance

What do we need?

B.S. in Computer Science or related discipline, or commensurate industry experience.Minimum 5 years of experience in Software QA, with strong knowledge of QA methodologies and testing best practices.Strong experience in test automation, preferably using Python-based frameworks.Experience with Robot Framework is a strong plus, or willingness to learn and work with it.Understanding of Kubernetes (K8s) environments and experience testing applications deployed in containerized environments is a plus.Ability to design test scenarios, develop automated test scripts, and maintain automation frameworks.Strong analytical skills to identify system issues, analyze root causes, and collaborate with development teams to resolve problems.Experience with performance testing and the ability to design performance test plans, collect metrics, and produce analysis reports.
