Financial Analyst - Austin, TX (Hybrid)

General Description:

TheFinancial Analyst will be asked to drive value across a broad spectrum of the company with a particular focus on maintaining and developing Key Performance Indicators and supporting a wide range of strategic analysis. The role will collaborate with the accounting/finance, sales, and operation departments of the company and provide reporting to all department leaders. The position requires strong financial reporting, planning and modeling skills, and strong business sense. It also requires the ability to understand the big picture of the companys financial model while being very detail oriented. Impeccable character, integrity, and work ethic are critical for success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of company operations and the pricing models used.
  • Maintain and develop company Key Performance Indicators and processes to report on these metrics including a dashboard to be utilized by leadership team.
  • Assist in the companys overall planning processes for short-term and long-term budgeting and forecasting.
  • Responsible for compiling and analyzing department and company level forecasts.
  • Work cross functionally to support departmental leadership and proactively collaborate, influence, and align the companys Key Performance Indicators and planning processes to achieve the overall company strategy.
  • Assist in analyzing project profitability and comparing actual results to established budgets.
  • Partner with broader organization to drive process and systematic improvements across the Company.
  • Ad-hoc analysis as needed.

Skills Required and Physical Demands:

  • Self-starting, proactive individual with strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to solve problems, and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong quantitative ability and comfort with large data sets.
  • Experience with industry planning tools.
  • Ability to manage a complex set of objectives and team goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office products with an advanced knowledge of Excel required (i.e., pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.).

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or similar field required.
  • 13 years of relevant professional experience required.
