About the Role:

Position Title: Individual Support Provider/Art Room Coordinator

Reports To: Case Manager/VP of Adult Services

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience required with specialization in psychology, special education, counseling, youth work, or equivalent life experienceTwo to five years’ experience working with Consumers with developmental disabilities including experience with behaviorally challenged ConsumersExperience with Art Modalities and ability to research new opportunitiesGood independent assessment, observation, and org. skills Excellent computer skills and the ability to operate computer programs (Ex. Word, Excel, Medisked) and assistive technology devices (Ex. iPad)Good interpersonal skills in a variety of settings and situations.Ability to effectively present oneself, orally and in writing Ability to exercise discretion and work independently with general supervisionReliable transportation; required to travel to other locations

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

Minimal lifting of supplies routinely required. Must be able to communicate clearly and possess the ability to meet multiple job demands in a busy environment. May be required to operate Agency vehicles and transport Consumers in personal vehicle. May be required to lift and/or restrain Consumers or may be exposed to risk or injury from Consumers with physically aggressive behavior.

Salary:$20.00-$22.00 per hour depending on experience

Period of

Employment: Full-time, hourly.

Job Goal: To support the programs of Futures Inc. consumers in exploring different art modalities.
