Responsible for leading shift employees in maintaining the cleanliness, integrity, and safety of company facilities. All duties must be performed in accordance with Club Fortune policies and procedures.
- Lead, supervise, and train employees in completing Porter responsibilities
- Ensure cleanliness of the building and property
- Stock and replace supplies in restrooms as needed
- Dust and wipe casino floor areas as required
- Dust walls and ceiling areas as needed
- Empty and clean ashtrays and trash cans inside and outside the property
- Clean all glass surfaces throughout the shift, including entry doors
- Sweep, mop, and/or vacuum floor areas during the shift
- Restock cleaning and maintenance supplies
- Remove litter from parking lot and exterior areas
- Maintain cleanliness of interior areas
- Adhere to attendance guidelines and comply with regulatory, departmental, and company policies
- Follow uniform requirements and ensure employees abide by company appearance policy
- Clean biohazards using proper safety precautions and required PPE
- Perform other duties as assigned
Language Ability
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (speak and read)
- Use product information and directions for working with a variety of chemicals and standard cleaning equipment
- Ability to maintain a steady work pace to meet department schedules
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety procedures
- Strong customer service and employee relations skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 75 lbs occasionally
- Ability to handle and operate heavy-duty equipment
- Must be able to push and pull heavy-duty equipment
- Prolonged walking, standing, bending, squatting, reaching, and kneeling without restriction
- Ability to tolerate working with chemicals and noise from equipment
- Ability to work in an environment that is smokey, noisy, has bright lights, and varying indoor and outdoor temperatures
