Radiologic Technologist I-VI at Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation – Dillingham, Alaska

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Multi-modality position provides full technical/clinical services in Medical Imaging Services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. American Registry Radiological Technologist Registration (ARRT)(RT) and one of more of the following:
   • ARRT - Mammography
   • ARRT - CT (Computed Tomography) or documented 2+ years of experience.
   • ARRT/ARDMS - Sonographer or documented 2+ years of experience in Ultrasound scanning. Up to three (3) registrations will be considered separately.
   • ARRT - Bone Densitometry or documented 2+ years of experience.
   • ARRT/ARMRIT - MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) or documented 2+ years of experience.
2. Documented current CPR Certification is required.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed primarily at Kanakanak Hospital in the Medical aging Department with occasional visits to village clinics in small, unpressurized aircraft.

1. The employee may have exposure to communicable diseases, initiating the use of universal precautions for self and patient safety.
2. The employee may be occasionally subject to verbal abuse, threats, and physical violence from angry, hostile, or disgruntled patients and or family members requiring intervention by security personnel.
