Location: Boone, North Carolina | Part-time | Days & Weekends 6:55am - 3:25pm

- Compensation: Starting pay begins at $15.00 per hour, with competitive rates based on experience and education.
- Schedule: Variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.

- Perform general cleaning assignments including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing.
- Strip and refinish floors, perform carpet cleaning and extraction, and safely handle waste removal.
- Maintain compliance with infection control and hospital sanitation procedures.
- Securely dispose of confidential documents in accordance with facility policies.
- Restock cleaning supplies and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow all safety protocols and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for all.
- Assist with emergency cleaning or special projects as needed.
Education:

High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
Experience:

Prior experience in environmental services or healthcare preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:

Skills & Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to established cleaning protocols.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients, and visitors.
- Knowledge of infection control and sanitation standards.
- Dependable, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Lift, push, pull, or carry up to and over 50 lbs.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals, mechanical equipment, and hospital environment risks.
- Regular exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious materials.
- May work irregular hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
