As a Host at Tio Taco + Tequila, you are the first and last impression for our guests. You are responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment, managing the flow of the dining room, and ensuring guests are seated efficiently and courteously. Your role is essential in setting the tone for a GREAT guest experience.

• Exemplify the Triple T Hospitality Experience: Dedicate oneself to delivering GREAT guest service, consistently going above and beyond for both team members and guests.
• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
• Manage waitlists and reservations using the restaurant’s seating system.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
• Communicate wait times accurately and manage guest expectations.
• Answer phones and assist with takeout orders or general inquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
• Collaborate with servers, bussers, and management to ensure smooth seating flow.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.

To-Go Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and take accurate To-Go orders.
• Confirm order details and ensure proper packaging and presentation.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of To-Go orders.
• Process payments and handle cash or card transactions securely.
• Greet and assist guests picking up To-Go orders with professionalism and efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the To-Go station.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure order accuracy and guest satisfaction.
