Insurance Biller at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

We are seeking to add an experienced team member to the Business Office at the WK Innovation Center. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a strong work ethic, flexibility, dependability, excellent communication skills, computer knowledge and initiative to work independently. A few of the job responsibilities include verifying insurance to ensure that the correct policy was billed, filing of claims to the patient’s primary, secondary and/or tertiary insurance, including Medicare and Medicaid, reviewing of EOB’s and rejections to determine if a claim needs to be filed. Each biller is responsible for complying with payer-specific requirements and regulations when submitting claims both electronically and through the mail. Track and monitor claims. Orientation will be provided upon completion of the hiring process as well as ongoing training.
