Helper (1st Shift - 6:00am - 4:30pm) at Advex Corporation – Hampton, Virginia

Our Helpers are key to the success of our Manufacturing Shop. These are our “must haves” for this position:

• U.S. Citizenship (this is a requirement of our federal contracts)
• Submission to a pre-employment drug & alcohol screening
• Forklift certification or the ability to qualify for forklift operation
• Familiarity with manufacturing safety requirements
• Ability to operate basic hand tools and measuring instruments accurately
• Reliable transportation and ability to report to work on time
• Ability to work any assigned shift and overtime as needed
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach regularly throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to [40] pounds independently and occasionally more with assistance.
• Ability to use hands and arms to operate tools, equipment, and materials safely and effectively.
• Ability to maintain visual and auditory attention in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) as directed.
