Uses a variety of equipment including minor computer skills, scrubbers, vacuum, ladders, and other equipment related to the maintenance of Civic Facilities. There may be times when use of personal vehicle may be required.

Performs a variety of tasks involving the set up and tear down of equipment and other resources, supporting events and functions and upkeep of the building, grounds and equipment.

Performs a variety of tasks involving the set up and tear down of equipment and other resources, supporting events and functions and upkeep of the building, grounds and equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists in set up before an event and clean-up after.
- Ensures cleanliness of facility to include all custodial responsibilities before, during and after events and functions.
- Operates riding floor scrubber.
- Reports need for major building and equipment repair.
- Maintains storage areas in safe and orderly fashion.
- Removes snow and cleans walk areas.

- Ability to lift objects weighing at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to learn routine tasks quickly.
- Ability to work flexible hours, which will include evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.

Uses a variety of equipment including minor computer skills, scrubbers, vacuum, ladders, and other equipment related to the maintenance of Civic Facilities. There may be times when use of personal vehicle may be required.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
Work is performed in an enclosed arena environment with a controlled temperature; variance may occasionally range from extreme heat to cold. Some outdoor exposure required. Physical activity includes prolonged standing, bending, stooping, lifting, walking and climbing. Exposure to environmental conditions such as dirt, dust, heat, cold and loud noise. Must have the ability to routinely lift objects weighing up to 30 pounds, occasionally lift objects weighing as much as 75 pounds or assist in lifting objects weighing in excess of 100 pounds.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
