Team Lead at Specialized Component Parts Limited Inc – Auburn, Indiana

1st Shift Team Lead 6am to 4:30p Monday to Thursday

SCP Limited is seeking an experienced manufacturing leader to take ownership of our 1st shift production team.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands manufacturing operations, drives accountability, and leads from the floor — not from behind a desk.

We are looking for a leader who is organized, solutions-focused, and confident making decisions in a fast-paced production environment.

What You’ll Be Responsible ForLeading daily production meetings and setting clear expectations for safety, quality, and output

Coordinating staffing and work assignments to meet production goals

Driving accountability for attendance, performance, and housekeeping (5S) standards

Reviewing operator production reports and identifying improvement opportunities

Coaching and developing team members through direct feedback

Participating in accident, injury, and near-miss investigations and implementing corrective actions

Performing safety and quality audits

Supporting ISO 9001 compliance and customer quality standards

Assisting with materials planning and workflow efficiency

Administering corrective action when necessary

We Are Looking For Someone Who:✔ Has 3+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience✔ Understands production flow and plant operations✔ Is highly organized and detail-oriented✔ Thinks critically and solves problems quickly✔ Holds team members accountable while building trust✔ Leads by example✔ Is comfortable addressing performance issues directly

Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.

RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED

Ability to work extended hours as production demands

Reliable and consistent attendance
