Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Medical Assistant (CMA) for the Dermatology Clinic! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department: At the CMH Dermatology Clinic we diagnose and treat a wide range of skin conditions. We also offer cosmetic services and treatments.

Services include:

• Skin cancer and precancerous growth, including melanoma
• Acne, warts and psoriasis
• Cryosurgery
• Lesion removal
• Full body skin examinations
• Benign and malignant skin lesions
• Allergic, photo-induced and pigmentary skin disorders
• Blistering skin diseases
• Skin infections
• Atopic dermatitis

A typical day includes:

• Preparing exam rooms, positioning patients, and draping them for procedures.
• Gathering information about patients' medical history, symptoms, and medications.
• Explaining skin conditions, treatment options, and post-procedure care to patients.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Medical assisting program completion preferred
• Experience: Patient care
• Skills: multitasking, organization, customer service
• License: CMA, CCMA, RMA
• The ability to stand for long periods of time and to thrive in a fast-paced environment

The position is: Full Time, Days. 7:30am - 4:30pm
