About This Position

Training Center Administrator & Grant CoordinatorPosition Summary

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Training Center Administrator to oversee the daily administrative and operational functions of our newly established training facility. This role will also be responsible for researching, preparing, and managing grant applications to secure workforce development and training funding.

The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities — from facility coordination and student support to strategic funding initiatives.

Key ResponsibilitiesFacility Administration & Operations
  • Oversee day-to-day administrative operations of the training facility
  • Manage class schedules, room bookings, and instructor coordination
  • Maintain student enrollment records and attendance tracking
  • Serve as primary point of contact for students, instructors, vendors, and partners
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new students
  • Maintain compliance documentation for licensing and accreditation requirements
  • Manage office supplies, equipment inventory, and vendor relationships
  • Support event coordination (training sessions, certifications, workforce events, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain operational policies and procedures
Grant Writing & Funding Development
  • Research and identify federal, state, and local workforce development grant opportunities
  • Prepare, write, and submit grant proposals and supporting documentation
  • Develop budgets and narratives aligned with funding requirements
  • Track grant deadlines, reporting requirements, and compliance obligations
  • Manage post-award reporting and documentation
  • Build relationships with workforce agencies, community partners, and funding organizations
  • Collaborate with leadership to align funding strategy with training programs
Reporting & Performance Tracking
  • Track program outcomes, certifications, and workforce placement metrics
  • Prepare reports for leadership and funding agencies
  • Maintain accurate financial and enrollment data for audit readiness
  • Monitor program effectiveness and recommend improvements
