Job Summary:
In the role of Dock & Door Service Advisor, you are central to the efficiency of our Dock & Door service department. Your responsibilities include handling customer inquiries, coordinating service calls, dispatching technicians, maintaining preventive maintenance agreements, and overseeing warranty repairs. Effective communication and teamwork are essential to provide top-notch customer service and uphold a positive work environment, making your role integral to our service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming internal and external customer calls promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate and schedule internal and external service calls efficiently.
- Create dispatch tickets for service calls to facilitate technician assignments.
- Dispatch Dock & Door Technicians with precision including dispatch from home to the first assignment.
- Manage the scheduling and operation of transportation to and from the shop, optimizing efficiency.
- Collect and collaborate on information with the Parts Department and the Dock & Door President to create precise repair quotes, subsequently distributing them to both internal and external customers, including the salesperson when necessary.
- Collaborate and engage in cross-departmental teamwork to deliver exceptional customer service and foster a positive workplace atmosphere.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or tech school graduate preferred.
- Excellent communication and paperwork skills.
- High ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Prior experience in a service-oriented environment and use of a service scheduling software highly preferred.
- Strong math skills, customer service skills, organization, and professional communication are a must.
