Job Summary
The Lamination Supervisor oversees daily lamination department operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role supervises lamination operators, coordinates workflow and machine operations, ensures materials are properly staged, and supports employees in meeting production schedules and quality standards. The Lamination Supervisor is responsible for maintaining safety compliance, improving operational efficiency, and achieving production targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Department Supervision
Supervise daily department activities and assigned personnel.- Support, train, coach, and evaluate lamination operators and production staff.
- Assign work, monitor productivity, and ensure production goals are met.
- Ensure staffing, workflow, and schedules align with operational needs.
- Enforce company policies, safety rules, and PPE requirements.
Production Operations Oversight
- Oversee lamination machine setup, operation, and shutdown procedures.
- Monitor workflow and machine performance; assist with troubleshooting as needed.
- Ensure operators follow job specifications, work orders, and quality standards.
- Coordinate material flow and staging to prevent production delays.
- Record production data, machine settings and quality inspection results.
- Minimize scrap and ensure proper waste handling.
- Oversee packaging, labeling, and staging of finished goods.
- Partner with maintenance on equipment issues and preventive maintenance.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance processes
The salary range for this position is $58,000 – $75,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. This range represents a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting.

- Ability to read and follow written instructions, work orders, and production schedules.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
- Experienced in machine setup, calibration and workflow optimization.
- The ability to use basic hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Operate forklift once certified.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
