Sterilization Technician at LC Services 1, LLC – Raleigh, North Carolina

Position Overview:
Carolina Braces is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our orthodontic team. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient clinical environment. The ideal candidate will take pride in infection control standards, organization, and supporting the clinical team to ensure exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all sterilization and infection control procedures in compliance with OSHA, CDC, and office protocols
• Clean, disinfect, package, and sterilize instruments and handpieces
• Maintain accurate sterilization logs and biological monitoring records
• Prepare and restock treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies
• Monitor and maintain sterilization equipment, ensuring proper function and reporting any issues
• Manage inventory of clinical supplies and order as needed
• Assist clinical team with operatory turnover to maintain efficient patient flow
• Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control regulations
• Properly dispose of biohazard waste and sharps
• Support clinical team with additional tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• X-ray certification (Required)
• Dental or orthodontic experience preferred
• Knowledge of infection control standards and sterilization procedures
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Dependable, punctual, and proactive mindset
