Dietary Aide at The Pillars – Biloxi, Mississippi

The Pillars of Biloxi is looking for a Dietary Aide to join our growing team!

Dietary Aide duties include but are not limited to:

• Read production orders and diet cards to determine items for each tray
• Prepare and assemble food trays with utensils, napkins, and condiments
• Assist with food preparation including sandwiches, salads, soups, and beverages under the supervision of the cook
• Prepare modified diets, including soft or liquid foods
• Portion and plate meals according to diet specifications
• Inspect trays for accuracy and quality before serving
• Deliver trays to residents and assist in dining areas as needed
• Collect and return dirty dishes to the kitchen
• Properly store food and supplies
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining areas, and equipment
• Dispose of trash and maintain sanitation standards
• Record special food items served to residents
• Other duties as assigned
