Maintenance Supervisor – Affordable Housing | Swedesboro, NJ

Salary: $25.00 - $28.00/hour | Full-Time (40 hrs./week) | Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | On-Call Rotation

What You’ll Bring as a Maintenance Supervisor

You’re organized, dependable, and skilled in both leadership and repair work. You bring:

  • 5+ years of apartment or residential maintenance experience, including team supervision.
  • HVAC certification and knowledge of inspections, preventive maintenance, and Fair Housing.
  • Expertise in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and safety compliance.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, and maintenance schedules.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi or similar systems.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to respond within 50 minutes for on-call emergencies.
  • High school diploma or GED (technical or vocational training preferred).

How You’ll Make an Impact

As a Maintenance Supervisor at Conifer Realty, you’ll:

  • Lead and train maintenance staff to uphold Conifer’s quality and safety standards.
  • Manage work orders, make-ready units, and preventive maintenance schedules
  • Coordinate with the Community Manager on budgets, inspections, and resident care.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and housing regulations.
  • Assist with repairs, groundskeeping, and seasonal tasks when needed.

The salary range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00. The actual compensation may vary depending on a wide range of factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, location, etc. This range does not include additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
