Extended Care Aide - Part Time at St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Kansas City – St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Kansas City, Missouri

St. Charles Borromeo Academy is seeking a part time Extended Care Aide from 6:45am to 7:45am and 2:30pm to 5:30pm (up to 20 hours a week) for our before/ after school program. Experience in an early childhood setting is strongly encouraged. St. Charles Borromeo Academy extends the mission of the Church in forming true disciples of Jesus Christ.

Responsibilities

• Always understand and uphold the teachings of the Catholic Church.
• The aide positions require that individual care for the physical, social, and emotional needs of the young child while promoting and modeling the mission of the Catholic Church.
• Work under the direction of the Extended Care Coordinator.
• Demonstrate professionalism, including confidentiality, when working with administration, staff, parents and children, while promoting positive relationships and effectively communicating with others
• Manage and set high behavior standards within the classroom and building.
• Must be physically able to perform the job of a caregiver of young children.
• Be an active member of a faith community and be a model of the teachings of Jesus

Candidates for positions at Borromeo Academy:

• Prefer experience within a childcare setting, but not required.
