As a Food Service Specialist at KidsPeace, you will play a vital role in supporting the children in our program by ensuring they receive nutritious, balanced meals that fuel their growth, learning, and development. Your efforts will directly contribute to creating a positive and welcoming environment for the children we serve.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Preparing and producing nutritious meals and snacks
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment
• Managing meal service with attention to detail and efficiency
• Dishwashing and keeping kitchen areas organized
• Assisting children with nutrition education to encourage healthy habits
• Supporting purchasing processes, data collection, and maintaining accurate reports

Qualifications:

• Experience with commercial kitchen equipment, sanitation procedures, and large-scale cooking
• Previous kitchen experience required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Full-Time Hours:

• Wednesday through Saturday 8AM to 6PM
