Finance & Accounting Intern at Turf Tank – La Vista, Nebraska

As a Finance & Accounting Intern, you won't just be "helping out"—you’ll be deeply embedded in our day-to-day operations. You’ll receive direct mentorship from seasoned pros while taking ownership of meaningful tasks that contribute to our global success.

Location: La Vista, NE (In-Office)

Type: Internship (Full-time Summer / Part-time Academic Year)

Reporting to: Accounts Receivable Manager

Summer Months: Full-time (40 hours/week).

Academic Year: Minimum 20 hours/week.

Standard Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

You will gain hands-on experience across the entire accounting lifecycle, focusing on two core pillars:

• Revenue & Billing: Support accounts receivable, billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition processes.
• General Ledger: Perform bank reconciliations, prepare GL entries, and assist with the month-end close.
• Cash Management: Help process payments, manage cash collections, and conduct financial research.

• Support internal audit initiatives to ensure we stay sharp and compliant.
• Uphold company policies and financial regulations.

We are looking for a detail-oriented "doer" who takes pride in the accuracy of their work. To thrive in this role, you should have:

• Academic Status: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: A solid grasp of GAAP and proficiency in Excel.
• Mindset: A strong sense of ownership and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Reliability: Valid driver’s license and the ability to work from our La Vista office 5 days per week.

• This role is based in a standard office environment.
• Travel requirement: 5% (No overnight or day travel required).
