💼 About the Role
We are currently seeking a positive, personable Leasing Agent to join our team. Leasing Agents are the first impression of Uptown, working with prospective residents both in the office and in the field to help them find their new homes.

This is a full-time position starting at $18–$22 per hour, with eligibility for the excellent benefits listed below.

Required Availability

Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Weekends required with a flexed day off during the week

Typical weekend hours:
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Sunday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

The Assistant Property Manager (APM) will work one of the weekend days.

🔑 What You’ll Do

Leasing & Tours (60%)

Show apartments and guide prospects through on-site tours
Lease the greatest number of units in the shortest amount of time to maximize rental rates
Maintain strong follow-up communication with prospective residents

Customer Service & Communication (20%)

Serve as the first point of contact for prospective residents
Provide accurate information about properties, availability, and community features
Deliver a high level of customer service throughout the leasing process

Team Collaboration (10%)

Work closely with the Property Management Team to ensure prospects receive accurate information
Collaborate with the team to maximize occupancy and meet resident needs

Additional Responsibilities (10%)

Travel between multiple property locations by walking or driving a company vehicle
Support fleet management and other operational needs as required

✅ What You’ll Need

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and willingness to encourage co-workers
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Schedule flexibility including weekend hours
Professional appearance
Sales experience preferred
