Janitorial Site Supervisor

Part-Time

Monday-Friday, 4:00pm-6:30pm

Lead With Purpose

Join The Kennedy Collective, a mission-driven nonprofit serving people with disabilities across Connecticut for more than 75 years. As a Janitorial Site Supervisor, you’ll lead work crews, ensure contract compliance, and provide hands-on cleaning and job training to individuals in our Janitorial Enterprise.

This is a working supervisor role. You’ll lead by example while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.

What You’ll Do

  • Supervise and direct janitorial workers at assigned sites
  • Ensure all contract specifications and quality standards are met
  • Perform hands-on cleaning (sweeping, mopping, buffing, carpet care, strip/wax floors)
  • Train and coach individuals served in competitive employment skills
  • Complete required documentation and reports
  • Travel to assigned worksites as needed
Requirements:

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma required
  • 2+ years experience in janitorial, maintenance, or supervising work crews preferred
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
  • Ability to work independently with strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate cleaning equipment
