Neurology Diagnostics is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care through advanced medical techniques and a commitment to innovation. We are currently seeking a skilled Technician with a background in Neurodiagnostic medicine, exercise physiology, exercise science, physical therapy, or kinesiology to join our team. If you have a solid understanding of physiology and anatomy and are passionate about contributing to patient care, we want to hear from you.

Position Overview:

As a Technician at Neurology Diagnostics, you will play a vital role in supporting our medical team and ensuring the smooth operation of our diagnostic and treatment processes. On-site training will be provided to qualified candidates to ensure you are fully equipped to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS)
  • Prepare and stock treatment rooms for patient examinations, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
  • Maintain strict infection control practices between patients, including cleaning exam rooms, tables, chairs, and all touched surfaces.
  • Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for testing as scheduled.
  • Utilize eCW and other systems (CompuNet, Labcorp, EPIC, Allscripts) to review and record patient data, and obtain records from external medical systems.
  • Confirm testing and procedures by reviewing the plan of care and orders.
  • Explain treatment procedures and provider instructions to patients under the provider’s guidance.
  • Prepare patients for needle Electromyography (EMG) to be performed by the physician.

Requirements: Requirements
  • Proficiency in medical terminology.
  • Experience in Neurodiagnostic medicine, exercise physiology, exercise science, physical therapy, or kinesiology.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative environment and manage multiple tasks.
