Job Description

Work Setup: Hybrid Setup (Twice-a-month at The Sanctum, SM North EDSA, Quezon City)

Contract: Full time

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: 9PM - 6AM MNL (subject to change) | M-F

Equipment: Company Provided

Billing Analyst work in a company's accounting department and ensure that clients are billed correctly. They correspond with clients, issue invoices, and oversee the company's revenue intake. The billing analyst is also responsible for invoicing the client and is able to communicate about the invoice and discrepancies.

What does a day in the life of a Billing Analyst look like?

  • Prepare and process daily customer billing.

  • Participate in month-end and quarter-end close activities.

  • Assist with annual audit requirements and documentation.

  • Identify and implement process improvements for billing efficiency.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Business Ops, Customer Success, AR, Accounting, Finance, IT, and Legal teams to resolve billing issues.

  • Respond to client inquiries regarding invoices and discrepancies.

  • Prepare reports and projections based on billing analysis.

What are the required qualifications of a Billing Analyst?

  • 2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable and invoicing roles.

  • Strong understanding of billing processes, cycles, and calculations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level).

  • Ability to analyze and reconcile billing data accurately.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce reporting, ACV and bookings calculations.

  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.

  • Prior billing experience in a SaaS company.

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting.
