Care Coordinator/Scheduler- Homecare in Manistique, Michigan at GOLDEN HEART HOME SERVICES

Golden Heart Home Services is a growing home care agency licensed by MDHHS serving MI Waver, MI Home Help, and Private Pay clients. We take pride in providing compassionate, reliable care to seniors the medically fragile and individuals in need. Helping them maintain independence and remain in their homes. We are expanding in the Upper Peninsula and looking for a dependable, organized Care Coordinator to support daily operations.

Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls (clients, caregivers, referrals)
- Schedule and coordinate caregiver shifts
- Assist with onboarding new caregivers
- Maintain client and employee records
- Communicate with care coordinators and staff
- Quickly fill open shifts and solve scheduling gaps
- Keep schedules and records organized
- Assist with on call rotation (staffing call outs, answering questions or concerns after 5p and on weekends)

What We're Looking For:
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Reliable and solution-oriented
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
-Comfortable managing schedules and urgent situations
- Basic computer skills (email, scheduling, data entry)
-Healthcare or scheduling experience a plus.
-Home care experience with geriatric and homebound population (CNA preferred but not required)
-Willing and able to grow our census in the U.P. area
