What You'll Expect

The Dual Rate Cage Supervisor/Cashier is responsible for performing all cage cashier functions while also acting in a supervisory capacity when assigned. This role ensures efficient, accurate, and compliant financial transactions within the casino cage, provides excellent guest service, and supports departmental operations in accordance with company policies and gaming regulations.

What You'll Do

Oversee daily cage operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper staffing levelsAssist cashiers with transaction issues, approvals, variances, and procedural questionsReview and verify cashier paperwork, banks, transactions, and system reportsConduct audits of cashier drawers and safe funds; investigate and resolve discrepanciesTrain, mentor, and evaluate cage personnel, ensuring adherence to best practicesEnforce Title 31/AML compliance and complete required reportingCommunicate effectively with management, surveillance, security, and other departmentsSupport problem resolution, guest service escalations, and emergency proceduresProcess a wide range of monetary transactions, including check cashing, currency exchanges, marker issuance/payments, credit card advances, and chip redemptionsBalance cash drawer and maintain accurate records of all transactionsVerify identification, authenticate documents, and follow anti-money-laundering (AML) proceduresHandle guest inquiries professionally and provide exceptional customer serviceMaintain the security and integrity of all funds, keys, forms, and cage assetsAdhere strictly to internal controls, gaming regulations, and company policies

What We Require

Previous casino cage, banking, or cash-handling experience requiredPrior supervisory or lead experience preferred (may be required depending on property)Strong knowledge of Title 31, internal controls, and gaming regulationsExcellent math skills and attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with high accuracyStrong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skillsAbility to obtain and maintain a valid gaming licenseMust be able to stand for long periods, lift/carry up to 25 lbs., and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
