Radiology Technologist Student at University Health System- San Antonio – San Antonio, Texas

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level requiring direct supervision by a licensed radiologic technologist. Possesses excellent customer service initiatives, demonstrates understanding of all procedures performed; a thorough sense of all work processes and safety issues in specific assigned area. Helps to expedite patient's procedures by assisting the radiology technologist in any area of the radiology department. Complies with instructions from assigned supervisor

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent experience required. Enrollment in a Radiology Technologist program with at least one semester of clinical coursework completed OR graduation from an approved Radiology Technologist program pending licensure form the Texas Medical Board. Experience in a radiology-working environment is preferred

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification is required. Enrolled in an Accredited Radiology Technology Program
